About ProShot & Tidal Sports
It started, like many great ideas do, with a soggy phone and a splash of saltwater. Back when the iPhone 6 came out, Andrew built the first prototype for what would become the ProShot underwater housing. After losing his phone while using a LifeProof case just a few feet underwater to test it out, he realized he needed something better—something that could truly protect his phone while diving deeper and capturing the beauty of the underwater world.
Andrew and Sophie met in 2016 and instantly bonded over their shared passion for the ocean. Since then, they’ve been building ProShotCase & Tidal Sports together—testing, designing, diving, and constantly improving their gear as a true husband-and-wife team.
ProShotCase was born from the frustration of failed waterproof cases and the desire to create something better: a reliable, easy-to-use underwater housing made by people who actually use it. No fluff, no gimmicks—just practical, trustworthy gear for divers, snorkelers, freedivers, and paddleboarders who want to capture their experiences without worrying about their tech.
The original mission? Simple: to make capturing your underwater adventures easy, safe, and fun. And along the way, they decided they wanted to do their part in keeping the ocean clean and thriving—the same ocean they spend so much time enjoying and exploring.
Where Are We Now?
Today, ProShotCase and its sister brand Tidal Sports are trusted by tens of thousands of ocean-loving adventurers all over the world. What started with a single waterproof case has grown into a full lineup of ultra-durable underwater housings, dive masks, and accessories—all built to survive the wild, salty places you love to explore.
The ProShot Touch Case, designed for snorkeling, surfing, and paddleboarding, remains one of their most beloved products. And for the deeper explorers? The ProShot Dive Case offers protection down to 130 feet. Pair that with Tidal’s award-winning freedive and scuba masks, and you’ve got a serious toolkit for marine adventure
